Elos is a traditional village in the mountains and is 18 km from Sunset Elafonisi Apartments. It is surrounded by a forest with chestnut trees and plane trees. At the village there are nice tavernas where you can taste authentic flavors of Cretan cuisine and shops selling local products. In late October there is the Chestnut Festival with traditional music and dancing in the square.
